The suspect is a black male with short black hair and a black mustache. The suspect was slim build, appeared to be in the mid-twenties of age and has not been apprehended at this time. A female was assaulted while cleaning a men’s restroom on the third floor of the Main Building at the Northline Campus. The woman reported that after informing a male individual that the restroom was closed for cleaning, he briefly left but returned seconds later. He then threatened her with a knife. When the woman screamed, the suspect fled the scene by running down the stairs from the third floor and exiting through the south side entrance of the building. No injuries were reported. HCC Crime Warning – Aggravated Assault reported at Northline Campus 8001 Fulton Street

On Friday, July 25, 2025, at approximately 11:41 AM, an aggravated assault was reported at the Main Building 3rd floor women’s restroom Northline Campus 8001 Fulton Street Houston, Texas 77022. A female was assaulted while cleaning the men’s restroom.
The suspect is a black male with short black hair and a black mustache wearing white athletic shoes, light grey jogger style pants, and white long sleeve short zipper shirt. The suspect was slim build, appeared to be in the mid-twenties of age and has not been apprehended at this time. The woman reported that after informing a male individual that the restroom was closed for cleaning, he briefly left but returned seconds later. He then threatened her with a knife. When the woman screamed, the suspect fled the scene by running down the stairs from the third floor and exiting through the south side entrance of the building. No injuries were reported.
This incident is being investigated by the Houston Community College Police Department. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect has not been apprehended at this time. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Houston Community College Police Department at 713-718- 8888. HCC Police has increased patrols in the area.

HCC community members should be vigilant when on campus and surrounding areas during the day and at night. Call 911 if you witness dangerous activity or violence. Trust your instincts; get to a safe place and call for help if you believe you are in a dangerous situation. Please take appropriate precautions and be aware of your surroundings. Avoid isolated areas and travel in groups, when possible, especially in restrooms or stairwells.
