Career & Job Placement Services

OVERVIEW

Career & Job Placement Services comprises Career Services offices located at 10+ locations. There are nearly 30 staff members that work in the department which was created in the Spring 2018 semester. The Career Services offices serve any student/alumnus seeking career exploration and job placement services. The department partners with HCC workforce programs by hosting industry-specific workshops/career fairs and other placement activities to ensure students find employment.

James Mable is the Director of Career & Job Placement Services. Mable is the first Director of the newly created department. There are Six Career Center Managers who lead Career Services teams at the HCC main campuses;

We highly recommend that students/alumni as well as employers utilize CareerHub to access all services and resources. 100,000+ students/alumni have access to CareerHub. When a student applies for a job, their resume is automatically sent via email to the employer who posted the job! CareerHub also has an app for students to utilize! Get started today!
