Accelerate Texas program at HCC to offer free training

Sep 12, 2016

The Accelerate Texas program at Houston Community College has teamed up with the HCC School of Continuing Education to train more people for good paying jobs that are in demand.

Accelerate Texas (ATX) for the School of Continuing Education can pay up to 100 percent of all training costs including, tuition, fees, books and tools. Plus, there are no income requirements for ATX financial aid.

Students who accept Accelerate Texas financial support are required to attend 60-80 hours of Reading, Writing, and Math support classes while they are enrolled in a career training program. These support classes are contextualized to the training coursework and are designed to improve learner success, completion, and employability.

See the Free Training: ATX for the School of Continuing Education selection option on this webpage. For more, email hcc.adulteducation@hccs.edu or call 713.718.7565.
