Reality Check
Do you have a career in mind, but no idea what type of house, car, or dining options that job will afford you? Or maybe your priority is to find a career that will enable you to live a certain lifestyle. In both cases, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and Texas Education Agency (TEA) have developed an online resource, Texas Reality Check, which will help to answer these critical questions.

College Affordability and Transparency Center
The U.S. Department of Education established the College Affordability and Transparency Center so that students have greater access to information indicating how much it costs to attend different colleges, how fast these costs are going up, and why these costs are increasing. This online resource features the College Navigator, which allows individuals to search for and compare colleges on all sorts of criteria including costs, majors offered, size of school, campus safety, and graduation rates.
