Pearl Cleage tells a thrilling tale of the wild west and three African American sisters determined to build a new world of freedom and prosperity in the all-black town of Nicodemus, Kansas. They can withstand long winters and hard work, but danger arrives in the form of a new brother-in-law greedy for their land. HCC Central's Repertory Dance Ensemble offers their annual spring concert. The evening features a new piece, Cacophony, by artistic director Cynthia Cupach, choreographed to music provided by the audience. In the Heinen Theatre.
