The AAS degree in Travel and Tourism is designated to provide students with specialized business skills and practical work experience. This curriculum will provide students with the skills, knowledge and abilities to work for airlines, cruise line, travel agencies and car rental companies The degree program focuses on courses such as Travel Automation, Ticketing Forms and Procedures, Travel and Tourism Sales and Marketing, Travel Industry Management, Travel Destination, Group Tour Operation International Fare construction and Special Events Design. These and other courses in the curriculum are uniquely designed for the travel service industry.

Travel and Tourism is the world's largest industry, and is growing both nationally and internationally. For hard working, creative and service minded individuals who want to own and operate their own travel agency or work in the exciting field of travel and tourism, the industry offers almost unlimited opportunities. Graduating students may choose to work for a travel agency, an airline, or a cruise ship and a wide variety of other positions in the travel industry.
